GROVE, Okla. … Paul Dolphus Dedmon, 79, Grove, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, at Grove General Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Dedmon was born March 15, 1917, at Waldron, Ark. He moved to Grove in 1982 from the state of California. He was retired from the investment business in California. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He married Loy Caudill on May 14, 1960, at Carson City, Nev. She survives. Additional survivors include a sister, Ruth Smedley, Orinda, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove. The Rev. John E. Butler will officiate. Burial will be in Olympus Cemetery.

Dixon Dedman, 67, Georgetown, formerly of Lexington, died Wednesday November 5, 1997. Services 1 p.m. Saturday, Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today.

Dorothy Lorene Johnson Bryce died Monday in a local hospital. She was 63. She was born in Shawnee on Jan. 14, 1934, the daughter of Jerry and Marie (Jacobs) Johnson. She attended schools in Bethel and Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School. She married Aubry S. Bryce on Oct. 2, 1953, in Austin, Texas, and was a homemaker. She had lived in Shawnee most of her life and was a member of Rio Vista Baptist Church in New Orleans, La. Surviving are her husband, Aubry S. Bryce Sr., of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jerry McGinnis, Shawnee; sons and daughters-in-law, Aubry S. Jr. "Scooter" and Lori Bryce, Bruce and Kelly Bryce, all of Shawnee; her mother, Marie Dedmon, Shawnee; brothers, J.D. Johnson, Phillip Johnson, both of Shawnee; sister, Elsa Chyz, Shawnee; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Matthews officiating, assisted by Phil Thompson. Burial will be at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery.
