This is the house where we now live with my mother.
You can still see a portion of the original
log house. We use the log house (room) as a den. After dad retired he built
around the house.
The area on the back (to the left) extends across the back of the house. There
is a bedroon on
each end with the kitchen in the middle. The front porch was added across all
the front of the
house, but is not visible because of the trees. It still has the original
fireplace, you can barely
see the chimneybehind the tree. Actually mom laid the stone for the front porch
and fireplace.
