JOIN GROUP Jane's Story Jane's Bio THIS OLD HOUSE My mother's grandfather, John Marion Dickson, built the log portion of this house approximately 150 years ago. This is a photo taken of a painting by my sister, Ruth. The room on the right was built from rough lumber from the saw mill about 100 years ago. (click for more information) My mother and her sister Edna Dickson inherited the property from their grandfather, John Marion Dickson. My mother was born in this house in 1912 and died here in 2008.
